Steel Clear Coat Pipe Rails for BBQ Restaurant

The rustic, industrial look has become a popular design lately. For this restaurant in Orange Park, we used a steel pipe threading machine to custom build the rails and walk gates for the front patio that needed a cool accent. The rails were finished with an industrial clear coat epoxy finish that will protect the raw look from oxidation and the elements.

Each individual post was core drilled into the concrete slab, leveled, and permanently affixed using hydraulic anchoring cement. Many times you’ll find rails around town will have plates welded to the bottom of the posts and regular blue masonry screws holding them down. Core drilling takes more time, but the result is a much cleaner look that will hold up much better than the cheaper screws that will rust away and become loose over time. We think it looks great!
